Like maybe if Hamilton had agreed before hand to stay with Eliza and take a break for the summer Angelica wouldn't be part of this whole equation but when Eliza realized he wasn't going to stay with her for the summer she wrote Angelica and invited her, not saying the REAL reason she invites her but knowing she'd probably write Hamilton and even if she didn't maybe her sudden appearance at the house would convince him last minute. Of course she'd invite Angelica anyways but I don't think was planning to invite her THAT specific summer. I feel like with how late in the song Angelica tells him she's coming plays a little into this idea, almost like she was hastily invited to temp Hamilton to take the summer off. Maybe Eliza tried using Angelica as like a bargaining chip of sorts. Hamilton of course! It's stated pretty blantently that Eliza knows Angelica had feelings for Hamilton. Then Angelica writes him saying, "I'm coming home this summer at my sisters invitation." Of course Eliza would invite Angelica, she loves her sister, and guess who else loves her sister. Well of course he's saying no, that his works really important and everything. take a frickin break and spend time with them. We all know that this whole song Eliza trying to convince Hamilton to go away for the summer and be with their family and to just well. Sorry if this is like a common thought or something but I'm just like throwing this out there. Thank you /u/fuckmattdamon for our Hamilton Snoo!
